Thursday the 11 Novr 1858 commenced breaking
corn land in the totem corners
rained some today and we did not plow
much but it did not make the ground too
wet

Friday the 12 Novr 1858 quite a white frost
this morning and quite cold run 5 [2] horse
Turn plows breaking for corn in the Totem corners

Saturday the 13th Novr 1858 Rained until noon
+ stoped ground too wet to plow worked in the
Barn + shop stoped raining at noon

Monday the 15th Novr 1858 Run 5 two horse
Turn plows in the [] field breaking up for
corn the other hands making fence with
cassel pasture to keep the mules from pumping
into the wheat quite cloudy + cool all day

Tuesday the 16 Novr 1858 rained + snowed last night
considerable are the houses + fence + did not melt during the
day too wet to plow until noon we then went to plowing
finished the [] field 12 acres and commenced in the
field south of the house breaking it for corn
quite cold all day then this morning 32 deg
halled manure in the forenoon from where we
ground sugar cane put some in the barn yard
+ some on the field finished [making] the
fence around the cassel pasture + sent one way []
to conrad mill planted some hitching posts
+ let out some shade trees at the blacksmiths shop

Wednesday the 17 Novr 1858 run 4 turn plows
the ox cart halling [] manure into the corn
field put away the cabbage they are
verry small + buffing no good heads
cold + frosty this morning ground froze
some
