Saturday 16 April 1859 finished planting mud
road field in corn we ahve 65 acres in that
field including the old fields we have taken
in commenced planting corn in the
house field at noon

Monday 18th April 1859 run one plow planting
corn in house field + 3 wagons putting manure
in the corn hills
cold yesterday and a sharp frost this
morning done but little damage some ice

Tuesday 19th April 1859 planted corn + halled
manure the ground is verry dry + hard

in house field + 2 wagons halling manure
