last night set out cabbage plants +
potatoe slips this morning then went
to cutting wheat in cassel field with
4 cradles Ada + mary got the measels

Friday 10 June 1859 run 5 cradles cutting purple
straw wheat in cassel field we have
Sam Wishaw + Bradley Matheis hired to cut
+ David Basset to bind Ada + mary sick
finished cutting the cassel field we had
850 dry wheat will perhaps make 200 Bu

Saturday 11th June 1859 finished cutting
our Rye [] had 260 deg verry good
rye

Monday 13th June 1859 started 6 plows in
the mud road field plowing our corn the
3rd had to stop in the afternoon to bury
negro girl E[i]llen 5 or 6 years died of measles
6 more cases now on hand

Tuesday 14 June 1859 run 5 plows in mud road
field plowing corn 3rd time two cradles
cutting walker wheat by []
Luke Anda + mary sick

Wednesday 15 June 1859 run 7 plows as yesterday
Luke went to work Roth Ada + mary sick
Dan + some small hands thinning corn
they just keep up with the plows

Thursday 16 June 1859 finished cutting the
walker wheat we had 260 deg of it not
well filled will perhaps make 60 Bu
run 6 plows in mud road field [cassel field 850 oz, red [] wheat 430, walker - 260]

Friday 17 June 1859 finished plowing mud
road field the 3rd time + finished thing the []
