Saturday 25th June 1859 all hands worked
their corn patches

Monday 27 June 1859 Commenced
cutting our spring sowed oats in the Fulfer
field with 4 cradles & binding up after
the cradles the oats is very short
can just save it not half a crop
in the evening rained a light shower

Tuesday 28 June 1859 commenced plowing
our corn the 4 time in Tatem corners
with 7 plows light shower of rain
in the evening very warm

Wednesday the29th June 1859 finished the
Tatem field & commenced in the mud
road field the 4 time in the afternoon
had a fine rain or shower not half a
season

Thursday 30 June 1859 run 7 plows in mud road
field 4th time until noon then cut oats 4 cradles
& bound up shocked

Friday 1st July 1859 cut oats un fulford field
finished cutting by noon in afternoon bound
them up 10 Acres in oats in that field the
ballance of the field was in rye run one
wagon all day balling it up
very warm Ther 90

Saturday 2nd July 1859 Cut oats with 5 cradles until
noon Then bound them up Healled in our winter
Oats to day Anda & Mary still sick Laz & Little
George got meassels 4 hands out of the filld
very dry & hot Ther 93

Monday 4th July 18859 very dry & cool run 4 cradles cutting oats
Healled in the Oats from the Fulford Field had
365 Dry in that field Jerry, Anda, Laz, Little George
& Mary sick 5 hands out of the field Meassels
