Rye in mud road field East other branch
run 6 plows we are sowing the
Rye in corn
sowed a small patch of Turning seed
along the Branch in the same field

Monday 21 Aug 1859 finished sowing
rye we have sowed 10 of 12 acres
made fence in the falford pasture

Tuestday 23 August 1859 Commenced
sowing winter Oats in the Roberts
Orchard with 5 plows finished Our
fence in the Fulford pasture
Rained a good Season in afternoon
