ground in the Fulford field

Friday 21th Oct 1859 Killing frost
sowed Latew field in Bed May wheat

Saturday 22 Oct 1859 servere frost
Dug sweet potatoes cut + halled sugar
cane

Monday 24 Oct 1859 Commenced gathering corn
in mud load field put away sweet
Potatoes we put away 25 Bu for seed
and 50 Bu Eating all verry fine + large
