pump field 2 wagons halling manure on the
corn hill at Athows verry hot dry + windy
Ther at 90 Degs
The corn at Athow is comeing up barely

Wednesday 11 April 1860 Still warm + verry
dry Ther 88 commenced planting corn in
pump field halled manure at Athow with
3 wagons got done manured about 10 Acres
in the hill

Thurdsay 12th April 1860 Halled manure on
hills in pump field with 4 wagons
not so warm but verry dry

Friday 13 April 1860 run 1 plow planting
corn + 3 wagons halling manure

Saturday 14th April 1860 planted corn +
halled manure in pump field no rain
yet ground verry dry the first corn we planted
has come up verry fine + needs peplanting
but we cannot do it until we get done planting

Monday 16th April 1860 cool + cloudy in the moring
but did not rain halled manure with 4 wagons
+ put on the corn hills in puml field

Tuesday 17 April 1860 finished planting
+ manuring the hills of the pump field
manured all in the hills execpt 50 r6 Acres of
the best verry dry
