& until 2 o'clock to day ground wet enough
Set Out 800 cabbage plants and 800 potatoe
Sbr/cs or sprouts Scraped up manure in
Barn yard cleaned out stables &c
Friday 20th April 1860 made fence around the
little field on left of mud road Sprouted & burt
the brush in afternoon plowed it up in
part Bot horn of n Williams for $125
Saturday 21 April 1860 Negros plowd
& planted their corn potatoes but did not
get done at rained as verry hard thunder
shower
Monday 23 April 1860 ground too wet
to plan Replanted Corn in Fulford
field it had come up verry well
Saved 1/2 Acre in Noney Blade Millet grass seed
Tuesday 24 April 1860 plowed up & planted
new ground in corn left of mud road
plowed a part of cherry orchard
& Listed it for planting the upper
part too wet to plow we turn
in the middle of the field
Wind Blows cold in the evening
Wednesday 25 April 1860 Some frost
this morning but Sweet potoes vines some
but done but little damage cool all day
planted corn in cherry orchard & halled
manure on the hills earth 4 vagous
