+ 364 Bu Rye moderate + warm
hard rain in the evening

+ split wood + warm

Monday 18th Feby 1861 cool + Frosty
clouded up + snowed some at noon
Halled + choped wood

Friday 22 Feby 1861 been making fence this week
on the line between me and Mat butherell from
Mud Road to Lim Perry's not done yet

Saturday 23th Feby Commenced plowing this
morning but at noon it rained + stoped
us

Monday 25th gtound too wet to plow
clear + cool ground froze same
made fence + cut corn stalks,

Tuesday 26th Feby 1861 still cool
made fence +6

Wednesday 27th Feby 1861 Some warmer today
commenced sowing oats in cassel
field with 8 plows
