washed sand verry bad creek verry lufe
Monday 3 June 1861 another verry hard rain
in the afternoon washed the corn field verry
bad ground verry wet
commenced mowing in mud road
meadow to day with 4 hands the others thined
corn set potatoe slips + cabbage plants
Teusday 4 June 1861 mowed with 4 hands
+ the others thined corn
Wednesday 5 June 1861 mowed + skewed corn
in the evening had another verry hard Rain
wet our hay
Thursday 6 June 1861 finished mowing mud road
meadow cloudy in forenoon the hay did not cure
much all the hay on the meadow 9 Acres
is now on it none dry enough to stack
in the Eveing had another verry hard Rain
Friday 7th June 1861 cured + put up hay
