Friday 16th August 1861 Thrashed Wheat got done
our white wheat at Fulford Barn which is the
last wheat we have to thrash we made Bu
White Wheat and Bu purple straw and
144 Bu Red may Wheat in we made this year
Bushels
in afternoon we raked up + halled the Hay from
the Jrw Town Meadow
Saturday the 17th August 1861 Rained all day
good seasou
Monday 19 August 1861 Stardet 5 Two horse
plows in shop field breaking oats shubble for
wheat ground in fine order
Teusday 20th Aug 61 run five plows in shop
field at night we had a good shower of
Rain
Wednesday 21 August 1861 run 5 plows in
shop field
Thursday 22 August 1861 finished shop field
Friday 23rd August 1861 Raining this morning
but stoped at 8 oclock we commenced plowing
in Fulford field next to wards for corn
with 5 2 horse turn plows
Saturday 24 Aug 1861 run 5 plows in Fulford
field the other hands sprouting cool
Monday 26th August 1861 run 5 plows cool
Teusday 27 Aug 1861 commenced raining
soon thir morning + continued until
9 oclock + stoped plowed in atfernoon Raned
again
