to help 1 + Smith Thrash Wheat Rained in
afternoon verry hard

Friday 27 Septr 1861 Rained all last night verry
hard + to day until noon big fresh in
the creek, + river wind blew verry hard blew the
corn down

Saturday 28 Sept 1861 quite col cut pea vines
slight frost done no harm

Monday 30 Sept 1861 cut pea reines still cool
but not enoudn frost to kill any thing

Tuersday 1st Oct 1861 Commenced
sowing wheat in shop field

Friday 4 Oct 1861 finished sowing shop
field in wheat sowed 23 Bu purple straw
wheat on 30 Acres warm

Saturday 5 Oct 1861 Halled pea vines
made water furrows in wheat + 6
verry warm

Monday 7th October 1861 run 8 plows sowing
wheat for Frank in Cassel Pasture
in the Evening Rained verry hard
still verry warm

Tuersday 8 Octr 1861 worked Road
towards the creek until noon then
commenced pulling corn next to
Franks ground too we to plow

Wednesday 9th Oct 1861 pulled + halled corn
harrowed in wheat for Frank in
afternoon with 2 Harrows
