morning but not enough to kill much
sowed wheat 10 plows in mud road field

Thursday 31 Oct 1861 finished sowing
wheat to day we have sowed about
one hundred Acres with 75 Bu purple
straw wheat
shop field including corner next to Franks 45
field Fast of meadow
55/100 Acres

Friday 1st Novr 1861 gathered corn at
Fulford place until noon then it rained
+ stoped us

Saturday 2 Nov 1861 ground verry wet
shucked corn

Monday 4th Novr 1861 Some frost thir morning
but not enough to kill vegetation
Bean + tomatto vines green yet
pulled +halled corn from Fulford place

Saturday 9th Novr 1861 been halling corn + shucking
all the week Dug sweet potatoes + put thruoup
we just up 75 Bu Eating and 40 Bu planting
all in fine order

Wednesday 13th Novr 1861 been pulling corn +
Halling stalk fodder this week got nearly
done the Bark field which is the least
corn we have to hall
no killing frost yet Tomato + Bean vines
green as in August

Saturday 16th Novr 1861 Finished gathering
corn
no killing Frost yet cool + windy to day
