Monday 24th
Queens Birthday the Inmates
worked until the dinner hour
and spent the remainder of the
day in various sports and games
having a plentiful supply of cake
and fruit for their tea.
Mrs Gregory spent the evening with
them. Laundress out for the day.

Ladies Sub Committee. The Hon
Secretary not present. A letter was
read from Hettie Lee's Mistress
complaining of her bad conduct
and saying she must return her to
the Refuge as she fears her running
away she having threatened to do so.
