Admissions Advisory Committee

Mr. Lunsford Crew, Chairman of the Admissions Advisory Committee,
presented the following resolution with the unanimous recommendation of his
Committee., and requested its approval by the Executive Committee:

BE IT RESOLVED that effective May 28, 1956, no male
applicants shall be admitted to any course offered by the
Woman's College of the University of North Carolina on
its campus. Male students previously enrolled for graduate
degrees will be permitted to complete their program
leading to such degrees.

On motion of Mr. Clark, seconded by Mr. Barber, the resolution was
unanimously adopted and referred to the full Board.

The meeting adjourned to convene with the full Board at 11:00 A. M.
