They have proved a great convenience
in taking sub-vouchers. The work could
not have been perceived at a less price.
Printing is high in California and I have
at all times been careful to obtain it at
the lowest rates. The authority for
this expenditure is regarded the same
as that which authorizes printing blank
vouchers, property returns &c.
