Enclosed please find the following Certificates of Indebtedness given by Mr M B Lewis late Sub Agent Fresno Reservation Cal, for amounts respectively due:

G Greiersen & Co 295.42

You will please observe that the amount due W B Cummings is for supplies furnished Fresno Indian Agency during the Quarter ending March 31st 1859, and we presume exactly at par with several claims alllowed and paid for inst [instance] that of Gomer Evans paid to us last year, and those of L Leach and L G Hughes which also have been allowed. You will also please observe by an enclosed transfer that we have bought the said Claim of Mr Cummings, so that the amount is now due us.
