A Trustee Meeting was held
December 10th, 1859.

A communication was received of
Mssrs. Lewis & Cohn asking for
the privilege to kill "Koshers."
The Board authorized the secretary
to answer the communication to
the effect, that we have at present
a butcher, who pays for the
privilege, of the [??] and
that his term is not yet
expired.

On motion of the president that
Mr. Aronson be requested
to insert an advertisement
in the "Gleaner" for a Chazzan,
Shochat, Teacher & Reader
for the present incumbent [??service]
expires on the 10th of January.
Interested applicants must send
in their applications on or
before the 5th day of January, 1860.

The meeting adjourned.
