Applications were received from C.
Lehman and Frank & Bosler
for the privilege of killing Kosher
meat, and offering to pay 20
dollars per month for the privilige
and selling meat at 8, 10, and 12 [??cents]
per lb. On motion of Mr. Kosminski
the meeting proceeded to an election
of a butcher to kill cattle Kosher
and Mr. C. Lehman receiving
a majority of all votes cast was
declared duly elected butcher,
he agreeing to pay 20 dollars a month as
advance for the privilege.
No other business appearing
the meeting adjourned.

A special meeting of the
Congregation was held,
the President in the chair.
The President stated that the object
of this meeting to be to arrange
for the sale of seats in the
Synagogue for the approaching holy days.
Mr. Harris moved to charge members
2.50 for each seat and nonmembers from
2.50 to 10.00.
