Sacramento, October 9th, 1866

A meeting of the Board of Officers of
Congregation B'nai Israel was
held for the purpose of transacting
general business
L. Elkus presiding.

Roll called, present L. Elkus,
S.J. Nathan, J. Bremer, N.M. Jacobs,
B. Kozminsky, and S. Zekind.

L. Elkus presented bill of 41.80 for
amount which he has paid out at
different times, the bill was found
correct. Upon motion an order
was drawn upon the Treasurer
in favor of Mr. L. Elkus for 41.80.

N.M. Jacobs moved than one thousand
dollars of the funds of the Congregation
be appropriated for the purpose of liquidating
the indebtedness of the Congregation.
The motion was carried.

On motion orders were drawn
upon the Treasurer as follow

Phillip Meyer 200.00
P. Franklin 100.00
Joseph Bremer 100.00
S.J. Nathan 100.00

A motion was made and carried
that whenever there is sufficient
money in the Treasury an order
shall be drawn in favor of
Mr. L. Elkus for 100.00.
