Sacramento, July 6, 1878
A general meeting of the congregation was held
at the school room. L. Elkus
president in the chair.
The minutes of the last general
meeting of September 22, 1872
and all other minutes from
the different special meetings
up to July 1, 1873 were read
and approved.
On motion, a committee
of 5 members consisting
of Mr. S. Wilzinsky, J. Levison,
S. Zekind, S.J. Nathan, L. Jacobs
were appointed to examine
the accounts between some of the
members and the secretary.
The report of the secretary and
treasurer were read and
on motion received and placed on file.
Mr. J. Davis school commissioner
made a verbal report
that the school is not progressing
as well at present as if there
was an English teacher.
On motion the report was received.
The president reported that the
congregation has leased the burial
ground from H.B.S. for 10 years
with the privilege of 10 years at
$5.00 per year and the same is recorded.
On motion this action was approved.
