Meeting was called to order by the president,
L. Elkus in the chair.

Reading of the minutes of last meeting
dispensed with.

Application of Joseph Rosenthall to become
a member of the Congregation was received and
ordered on file.

Joseph Rosenthall was elected a member of the
Congregation B'nai Israel and Secretary
instructed to notify him.

On motion of Judge G. Haines the price of the seats
was left discretionary with the President.

On motion the President was instructed to
engage an assistant reader for the holidays,
expense not to exceed one hundred dollars.

A note of thanks was tendered to the
Hebrew Benevolent Socient for the donation
of five hundred dollars and the Secretary
was instructed to notify the officers of the
Hebrew Benevolent Society of the same.

Judge Haines moved that the sale of
mitzvahs be dispensed with.
