On motion six trustees to be elected, the
first three Trustees elected shall be the school
directors.

L. Phillips, H. Weinstock, Sam Levison,
J.S. Newmark, A. Hamburger, B. Levy, Wm. Wilson,
D. Lubin, M. Levy, J. Bories, M.J. Simmons
were nominated; H. Weinstock and Wm. Wilson declined.
71 votes cast.

L. Phillips 50, Sam Levison 37, J.S. Newmark 42
were declared school directors for the term.
B. Levy, A. Hamburger, and M. Levy were
declared elected Trustees for the term.

Sam Marks moved a committee of five be appointed
to investigate the credentials of the applicants
for Rabbi.
A. Hamburger offered an amendment that the
committee consist of ten instead of five. Carried.

The committee appointed:
L. Elkus, S. Marks, A. Hamburger,
D. Lubin, J.S. Newmark, S. Goldman,
H. Weinstock, L. Phillips, M. Robertcheck,
Sam Levison -- to report at next meeting.

J. Koleman moved and seconded by S. Marks that
when we adjourn it will be to meet next Sunday
June 29th, 1879 at 2 o'clock P.M.

A. Hamburger moved as an amendment, 2nd
by L. Elkus and others to meet at 10 a.m. instead
of 2 p.m. Carried.

No further business appearing,
the meeting adjourned to 10 a.m. Sunday,
June 29, 1879.
