This distribution shows that some students above the average
(M) should have passed in all subjects taken and did pass. The students
are as follows: Robinson, Harper, Jones, Russell, Martin, Anthony,
Ingram, and Omohundro. It also shows that some students applied themselves
enough to pass successfully in all subjects taken but failed
because of over-emphasis in some studies and lack of emphasis in others.
The students are as follows: Everette, Grimes, Smith, Gibson, Cundiff,
Alverez, Bullock, and Green.

Three students--Theodore Page, Fosanna Shields, and George
Spaulding, are very unsatisfactory. If their work does not improve
during the next quarter the class would do better without their distracting
influence.

The cut system has worked very well. The students understand
the system and attendance has been very satisfactory. There has been
absolutely no friction with the institution in the administration.
Only in a few cases have students over-cut. In these cases the law
has been enforced fully. The following students over-cut:

Anthony--English*; Busby--Biology**; Page--Biology**;
Parker--Mathematics*; Spaulding--Mathematics**, French*; Walton--Hist.*;
Holt--Mathematics*, Public Speaking*. (*means one over-cut.)
