delivered into the hands of the succeeding treasurer. Every treasurer shall
receive all moneys, donation, gifts, bequests, and charities whatsoever that
may belong or accrue to the corporation during his office and at the expire-
tion thereof shall account with the trustees for the same and the same pay and deliver over to the succeeding treasurers and on his neglect or refusal so to
pay and deliver the same proceedings may be had against him and on his official
bond.

Section 8. That the Board of Trustees are hereby authorized
and approved to fix the amount of tuition at said State College, except that
all students of the Normal Department, who shall have agreed in writing to teach
one year after leaving said College, do not have to pay tuition in that Depart-
ment, but they shall pay full tuition in other Departments, and the said Board
of Trustees shall, by and with the consent and approval of the Superintendent
of public Instruction, fix the curriculum of said State College, and particular-
ly the course of study to be [pursued?] in the Normal Department of said State College.

Section 9. The said State College shall, until otherwise
provided by the Legislature, receive its due proportion of the funds authorized
by the General Assembly of North Carolina to be expended by the State Board of
Education in the support and maintenance of normal schools for the colored
people of the state.

Section 10. This act shall be in force from and after its
ratification.
