A vote is taken after considering other factors,
resulting in the election of Prof. J. Henry Highsmith
as it is made unanimous to the Chain of Education.

By consent, action on Dr. Foushees resignation is deferred unbtul the regular meeting of the Brand.

Resolved that the committee consisting of Dr. Poteat, Dr. C. E. Brewer, and missesLynch, Rogers, and Timberlake be instructed to ascertain plans and suggest ways and means for the erection of a dormitory with commons hall to accommodate not less than two hundred students and to report to the Board Aug 22 at 11 AM.
Adopted.
