[preprinted] This Indenture, Made the [/preprinted] thirtieth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Sixty-Eight Between S. N. Van Voorhis, of the County of Stanislaus, and State of California, party of the first part and James Moe, of the County of Stanislaus, and State of California, the party of the second part, [preprinted] Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of [/preprinted] Two thousand and one hundred & fifty ($2150.00) Dollars, gold coin [preprinted] of the United States of America, to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained and sold, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever, all that certain lot piece or parcel of land situate, laying and being in the County of Stanislaus State of California, and bounded and particularly described as follows, to wit: [/preprinted]

Being the North West Quarter of Section Number (32) thirty-two, in Township Number (3) three South of Range Number Nine (9) East, containing one hundred and Sixty acres; Mount Diablo Base and Meridian; according to the United States Survey-maps, on file in the Land office for the Sale of Public Lands, situated at Stockton, California, Said Land being [derived?] to the said party of the first part. by virtue of Duplicate Receipt No 3327, issued by the Receiver in said Land office, November 24th 1868 for four hundred dollars, and for one hundred and sixty acres

[preprinted] Together with all and singulat the tenements, hereditements and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof; and also all the estate, right, title, interest, property, possession, claim and demand whatsoever, as well in law as in equity, of the said party of the first part, of, in or to the premises, and every part and parcel thereof, with the appurtenances.

To have and to hold, all and singular the said premises, together with appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever.
