On this nineteenth (19th) day
of July AD 1871 personally appeared before me a Notary
Public in and for said county Leland Stanford President and EH Miller Jr
Secretary of the within named Central PAcific Railroad COmpany known to me
to be the persons described in and who executed the foregoing instrument as such
officers of said Company who acknowledged to me that they executed the same
freely and voluntarily as the free act and deed of said COmpany and for the uses
and purposes therein mentioned.
