Dear May Your sweet
Christina's greeting has
already reached me and
with it came sunshine
from dear Cal for I
knew your thoughts had
been turning towards
us.
The flowers and the
bon bons that brighten
the route over here
[left page]
they would tell me the
cheering side. I hope you
will see her and write
me just what you think
and how she impresses
you. Please do not deceive
me thinking you do me a
favor. Suspense is wearing
and truth can be borne.
We all join in sending
best wishes for the year
that is about to open on
us all a momentious [sic] year
probably to you but trust
in the good Just God
With love ever yours
