Through the kindness of Mr. Ariel Lathrop I have been permitted, on several occassions, to note the progress of the work on the University buildings [at?] Palo Alto.
The interest I have felt, from the first, in the plans for establishing this University, has increased as I have realized, more and more, the great value and extent of the undertaking.
