Assocation but she will not be
driven unless it be for the last
half. It will only be a trail for
her but next Saturday she will
trot to beat Axtell's record and I
shall be disappointed if she does
not go the mile in 2.10

While you kindly suggest that
she may remain with me for a year
I will readily yield the privilege
you grant regarding her at any time
you may desire it as she is your
own to do with as you please.

It was rumored in the
papers that you were coming
out here but I find this to be
without sufficient foundation.
I shall be very glad indeed if you
