Dear Mrs Stanford

Although I have
never had the Privlage [sic] of
seeing you, will you Premit [sic] me
to write a few lines of Condolence to you
in your great bereavement. how
I have wept over the great
sorrow that befell you & your
beloved husband in the death of
dear son. the sketch was
written by Miss Ingalls in the
Feb No 1892 of "the Ladies Home
Journal" and ever since that time
you have become very dear to me
