My dear Mrs Stanford

Your good note is
here to-day. You remember the
old saying, "One good turn deserves another"
Well if that is so, then good turns for
a whole quarter of a century may warrant
my asking for more, may it not?

When giving you names, I
thought only of the Eastern lecturers.
