Dear Madam

Will you suffer
a few lines from a stranger, and
not think me presumptous:

Away up here among the hills
of the old Granite State, beat hearts
as warm as in the sunny South, and
who feel to rejoice in every good work.

Today a friend brought in the
Feb No. of the "Ladies Home Journal."
In the series of Pen Portraits of
"Unknown Wives of Well Known Men,"
was one of Mrs Leland Stanford
