I left Washington on
May 30th for the fair, & was
in Chicago three weeks, &
did greatly enjoy. I then
joined my children here
& have become rested, &
now, I wish to express
my tender sympathy & love
for you, in the bereavement
that has come to your heart

waters, can feel with & for you
