RESOLVED, that in the death of Mrs. Jane L. Stanford, not
only this Company, but the Nation, the State of California, and
the County and City of San Francisco, have suffered a great and
irretrievable loss. Her great charity, philanthropy and amiable

this country, and they all mourn her loss.

I, A. D. Shepard, Secretary of the Pacific Improvement Co.,
do hereby certify the foregoing to be a full, true and correct
copy of resolutions adopted by the Board of Directors of said
Company, at a meeting held by said Board at its office in
San Francisco, on the 1st day of March, A.D., 1905.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the corporate seal of the PACIFIC IMPROVEMENT COMPANY,
this 28th day of April, A.D. 1905.

A D Shepard
Secretary, PACIFIC IMPROVEMENT COMPANY.
