Dear Sir:
On behalf of the Collector of Customs, I have to respect-
fully acknowledge receipt of your request to participate
in the funeral exercises of Mrs. Stanford next Friday
afternoon, March 24th, at 1:30 p.m., and to act as honorary pallbearer, I regret to state that by reason of
Mr. Stratton's illness he will be unable to attend the funeral.
