Your letter to Mr. Clark regarding the attendance of a Committee of Citizens of Palo Alto at the funeral services of Mrs. Stanford has been referred to me. In reply I wish to say that I would like to have more exact information about the organization which this Committee is to represent. If you will inform me as to the official status of such a committee from Palo Alto, I will endeavor to have proper reservations made in the Memorial Church.
