My dear Sir:
At a meeting of the citizens of Palo Alto
last night, a committee of three was appointed to at-
tend the funeral of Mrs. Stanford to represent the citi-
zens of this place and show our sorrow at the death of
Mrs. Stanford.
Prof. Show informs me that you are the one to com-
municate with in regard to seats. If that is correct,
will you kindly inform me if there will be reservations
or how they can be obtained for our committee, which will
consist of myself, Mr. C. S. Downing and one member of
the Board of Trustees. I shall await your reply.
