Dear Sir:

Acting for Mr. Chas. G. Lathrop, I desire to request you to act as an honorary pallbearer at the funeral of Mrs. Stanford next Friday, March 24th. The exercises will take place at Stanford University on Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, in the Memorial Church.

All persons serving in the capacity of honorary pallbearers are asked to report their presence on the Campus at Room 90 of the inner Quadrangle, the building to the north of the western arch, not later than one o'clock.
