Dear Sir:
Acting for Mr. Charles G. Lathrop I wish to request that
you or some one for you designate four of your messengers who will act
as honorary pallbearers in the funeral of Mrs. Stanford. The funeral
services will be held at Stanford University on Friday afternoon,
March 24th, at 1:30 o'clock. It will be necessary for the honorary
pallbearers to assemble at Room 90 in the inner Quadrangle, the build-
ing north of the western arch, not later than one o'clock on the day
of the funeral. An early answer with the names of the persons chosen
for this service, will greatly oblige the undersigned.
