Hon. A. L. Bubbard,
Chairman of Board of Supervisors,
San Jose, Cal.
Dear Sir:
The letter of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors
conveying the resolutions of sympathy of the Board on account of
the death of Mrs. Stanford and the decision of the Board to attend
the funeral in a body is duly received. Permit me to express our
appreciation of the kind words of your Board and to say that seats
will be reserved for its members, five in number. Will you kindly
have the individual members notified to report their presence on the
Campus at Room 55 in the inner Quadrangle, the building to the east
of the Church, not later than 1 o'clock on the day of the funeral.
They will then be escorted to the seats reserved for them in the
Church. The date is Friday, March 24th, the services in the Church
beginning at 1:30.
Very truly yours,
Acting President.
