Dear Madam:
Your kind letter of the 19th inst. asking that considera-
tion be given to the date of Saturday for the funeral of Mrs. Stanford
in behalf of the teaching Alumni in the vicinity, is duly received.
The date of Friday, March 24th, at 1:30 in the afternoon has been
fixed upon due consideration by those in charge of the funeral
arrangements and it cannot be changed. Regretting that the wishes
of the teaching alumni cannot be met, I am,
