My dear Mrs Stanford

May I tell you how
I sorrow with you and for
you. You have been so
constantly in my thoughts
since the death of your
good great husband.

What a void he leaves
and how the world will
miss him and his
friends but you - God
help you and comfort

[left side]

PS

Our good friend Judge Blatchford
is very ill, he was always so
warm, a friend of my
husband Judge Matthews thus
that is a great sorrow to me
When you can may I hope
to hear from you.

Always - Mrs Stanley Matthews
