The we weather is about over with now, so I would not have had much use for the coat this year.

We have had a considerable amount of humidity about here last week, and as usual the highways have been transformed into rushing torrents.

The roads in some places consist of one long stretch of thick, oozy mire. The greater part of the University road is under water, thus rendering my visit to the Chapel this morning impossible. Rabbi Levy, who did not preach last Sunday as he was expected to, so he will deliver this morning's sermon. The subject is "Now or Never," and will doubtless be an excellent discourse.

It was very cold here last night and the mountains are all capped
