very beautifully; but then we do not require beauty as much as strength in the texture of a pair of trousers, mine especially.

I have not shown the clothes to any one yet, and the boys will be somewhat surprised to see me appear to day in my natty summer outfit. I doubt if any small boy was ever prouder of his frist pair of knickerbockers than I am of my first summer suit.

an Easter day as we could wish. I tell you one never realizes the beauty of a day so much as one living in the country. The green grass, the shady trees, the plesant walks are all conducive to the enjoyment of the rustic; and having resided in the country for eight months I think I can claim the honor of being an excellent, nature-loving rustic.
