pense I can only say that is unkind, unthoughtful and ungenerous.

I have given the matter all due deliberation and have come to the conclusion that now when the opportunity is offered it is best to take the advantage of it. We will observe the strictest economy on our trip, and perhaps may make it for less than we calculated.

I have not yet written to George to get his company, but will do so as soon as I finish this letter.

I do not know when I shall go home, probably not until the 27th. inst. When does Vermonters' take place? Dont forget to tell me in your next.

As to Dr Deichmiller's bill. $37.50!!!! etc -

I have myself paid him $15.00, and you $5.00, so that reduces the amount to $17.50. Has he taken account of that matter? if not seem him at once. When does he go? If he is going next week let me know immediately, so that I can make a date with him for Sat, all day. I will have to come down on my wheel I suppose. My tire has not yet arrived, but I expect it at the latter part of the week. Next Friday being Memorial Day, school closes, and if possible I will come down then. However I am quite uncertain about this matter.
