and a pleasant time when we arrived at the summit. In one direction the ocean could be seen in the distance and Half-Moon bay at the foot of the western slope, in the other direction the Santa Clara Valley was spread out before us like a beautiful panorama. It was a grand sight and we students thoroughly enjoyed the picturesqueness of the scenery.
