The past week has been full of interesting occurrences.

Monday morning I arrived on the campus and I was glad to get back. A week's work in the S.F. Library would make anyone glad to escape from it. When I walked across the campus to my lectures I felt like a school boy released from work and out in the country on his vacation. To the city student this charming spot in the fairest Valley in California is a source of health and inspiration. The great stretches of green fields, the fragrant breezes from the pine groves, the perfume of fresh verdure and flowers, the healthful, invigorating air, the ceaseless chatter and songs of birds - everything is delightful, and appeals strongly to the city student.
