study for office work, he continues his "grind" for six months steadily, there is much hope for him. He will thus acquire the school training that will make him a capable, efficient clerk. He will then be able to secure a good position & a comfortable salary. He will have to work as hard as he works now, perhaps; it will be brain work of the severest kind. There is this advantage, above the consideration of an increased salary - he will occupy a position of some respectability - some thing with a future to it. The man who succeeds must have brains. The fellow without brains does the drudgery, the slaving, "the dirty work" so-called, of society.
